Anyone that's ever tried to fly from Edmonton to Europe knows that it's expensive. The bottom price on the major carriers has tended to stick around $1200 roundtrip after taxes.
So it's nice to see Air Transat offering up flights from Edmonton that are nearly half that price. Typically in years past, it's only been Calgary that has had prices like this to Europe.

There's a huge fare war to Amsterdam (AMS) going on at the moment. It's extremely rare to see the major airlines drop a price to Europe like this from Edmonton that affects such a large range of dates. Actually, it's extremely rare to see a price drop to Europe from Edmonton, period.
