Air Canada has dropped the price of their flights from Edmonton to Halifax, Nova Scotia down to $488 CAD roundtrip including taxes for July travel.
The flights have 1 stop each way.
Air Canada and WestJet generally do not like to drop the prices of their July and August flights to the Maritimes down to reasonable prices. You'll notice that August flights are still priced at around 1.5X this level.

Update 5/29 - August flights from Edmonton to the Maritimes have now dropped to similar price levels.
The destinations and prices are all pretty similar to what is listed above. Just try August dates instead.
